About MeHello. My name is Amy Tharp. I have been teaching in the L'Anse Creuse School district since 2000. I currently teach Spanish 1 and French 1. I have taught at Middle School East, Middle School North and now L'Anse Creuse High School. I earned a bachelor's degree in French and Spanish with an emphasis in secondary education from Grand Valley University. I also earned over 30 hours of graduate credit from the University of Northern Iowa. Most of these hours were earned through their Master's in French Literature Program which occurred in Angers, France. In addition, I earned a Master's in Educational Technology degree through Central Michigan University.
I am originally from Grand Traverse County, but transferred to Macomb County in order to teach. I am blessed to have a wonderful 10 year old daughter who has taught me more about life than any class I have ever taken. We also share our house with our dogs Lady and Brutus. |
